I had been lusting after the hourglass ambient lighting blushes for months now but couldn’t quiet bring myself to part with the almost €40 to own them.

Cue the overexcitement when I heard that Max Factor’s new Creme Puff Blushes were a dupe for the coveted hourglass ones. Now as I only own the Max Factor ones I can’t claim they actually are a dupe but my are they pretty.

I picked up two of Max Factor’s blushes, 05 Lovely Pink and 10 Nude Mauve, and I am head over heels in love I tells ya!

Both these baked, lightweight powders blend beautifully and are buildable. I prefer a very natural look and steered clear of blushes for a long time so in my opinion they are quite pigmented so my advice is to apply a little and build as desired.

Lovely pink gives you a gorgeous healthy glow that is perfect for spring. It is perfect for fairer skin tones, so of course will suit the majority of us Irish ladies.

Nude Mauve, my favourite of the two, gives a lovely subtle bronzed look and a lovely flush and sheen to the skin.

There are six shades in the range and I cannot wait to get my hands on Lavish Mauve and Alluring Rose. At €11.49 each in Boots they are well worth it and I will definitely be picking up some more.

Have you tried the new Creme Puff Blushes? I would love to hear what you think in the comments below.
