Review: Just Addicted to Endora

Endora.ie is an Irish owned clothing shop who have recently launched their online shopping website. I felt so lucky when Endora got in touch with me to review their clothes (the first time anyone has approached me to review a product) and I was more than happy to oblige. They generously let me browse the website and choose an item myself, which was a ridiculously hard decision, but finally I decided on a gorgeous cream grecian style dress.

This dress is made by Just Addicted and retails at €55. This floor length dress comes in cream, pink and turquoise and is perfect for special occasions like weddings or in my case my gorgeous niece and nephews christening. (Sorry guys, had to get it in there that I’ve become an aunt for the first time, way too excited!) Anyway back to the dress, it’s 147cm in length but the the inner skirt is short (about to the knee) and it has silver embellishment on the shoulders and waist.

It has a button at the back of the neck but no other zips or buttons to speak off. This makes it quiet difficult to get on and off. This may just be my awkwardness but I find I have to be particularly careful putting it on so as not to transfer any makeup to the outside of the dress. I find it hard to pull down over my bust area, but once it’s on, it fits like a glove. I love the fact that it is super long, I find a lot of these dresses are just a tiny but short but this one sweeps the ground in flats. Perfect!

The colour has a yellow undertone which is perfect for summer and the silver embellishment lends just the right amount of bling to the outfit so you don’t have to accessorise too much.

Here, I styled it with a mint green box clutch bag and a clashing coral pair of gladiator sandals, both from Penneys, for a more casual look. I also did my usual night time makeup including my attempt at a 1950’s eye-flick. The products I used were Lancome Teint Miracle in shade 04, Naked 2 palette, No7 Stay Precise Liquid Liner in black, Collection Super Size Fat Lash mascara, Rimmel Stay Matte powder in shade 006 warm beige, Isa Dora Perfect Lip Liner in shade 31 Prime Red and Isa Dora Perfect Moisture Lipstick in shade 47 Summer Red.

Endora stocks twelve different brands in total, each ranging in different sizes. Being “plus size” I did find the choice was limited when it came to size 14-16 and higher. Some brands do a “large” size but I am never too sure what size that is. But all in all they have some more gorgoues clothes that I haven’t yet seen on the highstreet which I love.

The online shop delivers internationally, with free shipping on orders of €50 or more, and they have two physical shops, one in Douglas Shopping Centre in Cork and the other at Sally West Cavan.

    1. I totally agree Nora, I find that a lot of the maxi dresses out there at the moment are either just a little too short or very low cut. This one is just perfect!
