The age old question, if money was no object what would you do? Well we would all like to think that we would continue life as normal as possible with a little added luxury but not let money fundamentally change us.
Who are we kidding though? Money changes everything, it always has and it always will, no matter how hard we try to stop it.
For me, if money were no object I’d stop living to work and instead start working to live. I wouldn’t give up working completely, I would get too bored but I would work when I felt like it and write only about things that I was interested in. Blogging would probably play a bigger role in my life, as I would be able to have so many more great experiences to share be able to afford some great beauty and fashion piece to show you.
I would travel the world and experience as many things as possible, from bungee jumping in Australia to canoeing down the Amazon. There is so much to see out there in this big world of ours and so little time to see it in, so why waste it. I would also bring a few friends along for this to keep my company (form an orderly queue please).
Keeping up with the travelling theme I would buy myself a 1965 VW Samba Bus in electric blue and drive as much of the world as I could. I love these iconic buses, as they remind me of a more romantic time of rebellion, love and peace. I am genuinely heartbroken that last month they officially stopped all production of these buses. Now that only vintage ones that you have to restore are available the prices are sure to sky rocket!
And the last thing I would do, is set up a direct debit, to a few of my favourite charities. If I was lucky enough to have money as no object than others should be able to share in my wealth. Money is not the most important thing in the world, it’s the type of person you are. Helping people in need and having empathy for their situation is what makes us human.
But for now and until the time when I no longer need to worry about money comes along, a girl can dream.
What would you do if money was no object?
