How’s it going? I haven’t talked to you in ages (been at least a year). I know that you only ever seem to hear from me about this time of year and that I always seem to be asking you for stuff but you know that friendship goes both ways right? Pick up a pen or a phone once in while, I’d always be happy to chat and give you any advice on how to handle the elves.
Anyway Santa I know you’re busy so I better get to the point. This year I have been fairly good (a few naughty slips here and there but who doesn’t have those?). The past year seems to have flown and I really don’t know where the time has gone. This may be partly because I don’t have a watch. I think my life would be much more efficient with this little baby hanging from my wrist.
This next one is a bit of a tall order Santa and I’m not sure but I think you may need some help to pull this one off. Well what I would really like this year is hair that would do what it is told. I love vintage looks but my hair really lets me down. It just doesn’t stay the way I want it to making the vintage styles I love impossible. While I’m talking about aesthetics could you throw in the ability to be able to do my makeup flawlessly every time please!
And last but not least Santa, this request is going to sound soft and emotional. I may even regret asking for it by the end of the Christmas season but dear Santa could you make my sister make her connecting flight so that she makes it home in time for Christmas. If that isn’t possible sure maybe you can pick her up in New York along the way and drop her with everything else if it’s not to much trouble. I’m sure she’d love to meet you.
Well Santa, that’s it for me this year. All that’s left to say is that you are some man for one man and if you could have all of this under the tree by Christmas morning that would be sound. (And if you can get my sister wrapped and under the tree you are a better person than me).
