Galway Bloggers Party

I know I’m a little late writing up this post but I have been without internet for a while (terrible withdrawal symptoms were experienced). That being said I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to tell you all about the great event that I attended last Saturday in Galway.

The Galway Bloggers Party was thrown by the wonderful Rebecca Casserly (http://becboopfashionistaworld.blogspot.ie/p/about-author.html). To be honest I was more than a little excited to attend the event as it was my first.

I attended with my best friend and fellow blogger Emily Maree (http://emilyfashionfiend.com). The day was off to a good start despite the rain with us getting there bright and early to receive our goodie bags.

I was pleasantly surprised with the contents of said goodie bags and got some great little treats from John Frieda and Blank Canvas Cosmetics among the haul.

The fashion show was great with contributions from local business Cotton Face Vintage and blogger turned designer Rebecca Horgan. There were fantastic pop-up shops from local businesses and a benefit counter. I must admit I was drawn back to the Cotton Face Vintage display time and time again.

The highlight of the day was meeting all the fantastic bloggers and there is already talks of another event being thrown which I am really looking forward to. Rebecca did a great job and it was great to see everyone’s individual style and get some tips here and there. It was also a great excuse to get all dolled up in the middle of the day, I really enjoyed myself and look forward to the next event.
